Dzükou Valley

Located at the border of Nagaland and Manipur, Dzükou Valley is a trekker’s dream — known for its rolling green meadows, rare Dzükou Lily, and surreal cloudscapes. It’s a 10–12 km trek (one-way) from Vishwema or Jakhama village. The valley offers basic dormitory shelters and star-lit skies, ideal for nature lovers.

 

• Tips:

  • Best months: June to September (bloom season), October for clear views.
  • Pack light, carry warm clothes, flashlight, water, and basic food.
  • No network or power in the valley — inform family before trekking.
  • Go with a local guide if you’re new to trekking.
  • Start early from base village to return before dark.
  • Nearest metro: Dimapur airport → taxi to base village.
