Loktak Lake & Sendra Island
Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India, is famed for its phumdis — floating biomass islands. The lake is home to the Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating national park, and the endangered Sangai deer. Sendra Island, located within the lake, offers panoramic views and boat rides through the phumdis.
