Nathula Pass
Once part of the ancient Silk Route, Nathula Pass stands at an elevation of 14,140 feet and connects Sikkim with China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. A historical trade route and strategic Indo-China border post, it is now open to Indian tourists on select days. Visitors can see Indian and Chinese soldiers on either side of the barbed wire fence, making it a rare opportunity to witness international diplomacy in action.
