Ujjayanta Palace
The Ujjayanta Palace , once the royal residence of Tripura’s kings, is now a grand museum in Agartala showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Northeast. Built in 1901, its Indo-Saracenic architecture features domes, wooden ceilings, and marble floors. The museum houses tribal artifacts, sculptures, paintings, and textiles from across the state.

- Open Tues–Sun , 10 AM–5 PM; closed Mondays and public holidays.
- Entry fee: ₹20 for Indians, ₹150 for foreigners.
- Allocate 1–2 hours to explore fully.
- Photography allowed (no flash); DSLR requires extra ticket.
- Visit in the evening to see the palace illuminated.
