Vantawng Falls
Vantawng Khawhthla, or Vantawng Falls, is Mizoram’s tallest and most stunning waterfall, plunging over 750 feet in a lush green valley. Surrounded by tropical forests, the view from the observation tower is spectacular during and just after the monsoon. It’s an ideal stop for nature photography and relaxation.

• Tips:
- Best seen between August to December after rains.
- Entry Fee: ₹10–20; basic food stalls and restrooms available.
- Don’t trek down the falls — it’s restricted for safety.
- Bring rain protection even in dry months due to mist spray.
- Combine with nearby Thenzawl golf course and bamboo handicraft markets.
- Nearest city: Aizawl (2 hrs by road)
